Expenses and Financial Aid
Financial Aid
Tufts provides a full range of financial assistance in the forms of scholarships,
assistantships, loans, and employment to as many graduate students as its own and
Federal funds allow.
- Scholarships/Assistantships
For students who show scholarly promise, the Graduate School of Arts and
Sciences and the School of Engineering offer scholarships, fellowships,
and research or teaching assistantships to full-time students in master's
and doctoral programs. Certificate students are not eligible for these awards.
- Loans and Work Study (Federal Aid)
Low-interest Federal Direct Stafford Loans and Federal Work
Study programs are administered by Tufts Student Financial Services, which
maintains information on all federal programs as well as alternative forms
of financing such as non-need-based loans.
