Manages communications for the Office of Graduate Studies; editor and head writer
of Alma Matters, the magazine for arts, sciences, and engineering graduate
alumni; editor of Graduate E-news, the monthly e-newsletter for graduate
students at Tufts.
Charlene Carle, Administrative
Assistant to the Dean
Manages the calendar of the Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences; primary
contact for the following: Graduate School Policy and Programs Committee, Faculty
Research Awards Committee (FRAC), graduate student travel program, graduate student
research awards, sponsored research forms, NSF Fellows, graduate student awards,
Graduate Institute for Teaching, and teaching assistant orientation.
Gina Murray,
Academic Administrator; Degree Certification Administrator (interim)
Manages the degree certification process; schedules and prepares
agenda for GSAS Executive Committee; primary contact for the
following: Requests for leave of absences, extensions of time,
transfers of credit, reinstatements, and change of grades; oversees
registration; schedules and coordinates language exams; contact for
Commencement and Doctoral Hooding ceremony-related questions.
Angela Foss, Program Administrator
Oversees administrative duties for certificate programs and the Graduate Career
Advancement Program (GCAP), including assisting certificate and GCAP students with
registration and other student service needs.
Catherine Boleyn,
Admissions Representative (interim)
Provides services to graduate degree applicants and students in the
following areas: Application processing, tuition billing,
scholarship processing for incoming students, matriculation
planning, and letters to the International Center for visa
extensions.
Primary OGS contact for the functions above and for the following
programs: Art and art history, art history and museum studies,
bioengineering, biology, biomedical engineering, chemical and
biological engineering, chemistry, child development, civil and
environmental engineering, classics, classical archaeology, computer
science, drama, economics, education, electrical and computer
engineering, engineering management: The Gordon Institute, English,
French, German, history, history and museum studies,
interdisciplinary doctorate, mathematics, mechanical engineering,
museum education, music, occupational therapy, philosophy, physics,
psychology, public policy, school psychology, studio art: joint
program with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and
urban and environmental policy and planning.
Kayleigh Doucette,
Staff Assistant, Admissions and Student Services (interim)
Answers questions about graduate admissions; directs visitors to
their desired location; handles all mail, phone calls, and emails
sent to the Office of Graduate Studies
