Spring 2007 Graduate Student Research Award Winners

The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) and the School of Engineering awarded research grants-in-aid to 20 graduate students during the spring semester. The award winners came from 10 different departments and are researching everything from how children are affected emotionally by their favorite movies to the biophysical regulation of stem cells.

The research grants-in-aid were made possible by the GSAS and School of Engineering Graduate Student Research Fund. Launched in 2002, the fund has provided support to over 100 graduate student researchers since its inception. The grants-in-aid help recipients pay for travel expenses in connection with their research, research tools, research participants, and publication expenses.
