AAUW Eleanor Roosevelt Teacher Fellowships: Designed to provide professional development opportunities for women public school teachers; improve girls’ learning opportunities, especially in math, science, and technology; and promote equity and long-term change in classrooms, schools, and school systems. Adams, John and Abigail, Fellowships in Parental Rights and Educational Freedom: Dedicated to the informed study of parental rights and educational freedoms. Participation is offered to a limited number of college seniors (by the fall of the current fellowship year) and graduate students who have an interest in researching these freedoms and who have shown promising scholarship in these or related fields.

AERA Dissertation Grants Program: Research topics may cover a wide range of education-related issues. Priority will be given to research that addresses mathematics and literacy education and the education of poor, urban, or minority students. Additional topics may include cultural and linguistic diversity; alternative forms of educational assessment; school persistence; early childhood education; contextual factors (individual, curricular, and school related) in education; materials (curriculum) development; school reform; and the quality of educational institutions. Preference will be given to research that intersects theory and practice.

American Academy of Arts & Sciences: Fellowships are open to U.S. residents and permanent citizens whose Ph.D. or equivalent professional training has been completed with the past 10 years. Fellowships will be awarded to individuals who can demonstrate that their work promise will lead to substantial contribution to one of the major areas of the Academy's major program areas: Science, Technology, and Global Security; Social Policy & Education; and Humanities and Culture.

Association for Women in Science (AWIS)

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute: Opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the federal level in the public policy area of their choice through the General Public Policy Fellowship. All aspects of public policy are considered such as: issues affecting children and families, international affairs, economic development, education, housing, local government, etc. CHCI also aims to develop leaders in the areas of public health administration (Edward Royal Public Health Fellowship), telecommunications policy (Telecommunications Policy Fellowship) and corporate-public interest (Corporate Fellowship).

Echoing Green Foundation: The stipend serves as seed money to start a new public service organization or an independent project. The proposed project can be domestic or international.
