Loans and Work Study (Federal Aid)
Low-interest Federal Stafford Loans (subsidized and unsubsidized), Federal Perkins Loans, and Federal Work Study programs are administered by Tufts Student Financial Services, which maintains information on all federal programs as well as alternative forms of financing such as non-need-based loans. Federal aid is available for U.S. citizens and permanent residents only. Certificate students may apply for Federal Stafford Loans but are not eligible for any other Federal aid. Students in the Post-Baccalaureate Minor Program in Computer Science and students in the Graduate Career Advancement Program (GCAP) are not eligible for federal loans. How to Apply To apply for Stafford Loans, Perkins Loans, or Work Study, complete the free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The form is on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The Tufts University institution code number is 002219. We recommend you submit the FAFSA by April 1. Deadlines - December 1 for spring admission to a master's or doctoral program
