Take a Class (GCAP Program)

Course Schedule Information

You don't need to be a graduate student to take Tufts graduate courses.

The Graduate Career Advancement Program (GCAP) was created for people who want access to superior graduate-level courses but don't need or want a graduate degree. GCAP students take the same classes as our graduate students and may enroll, for either credit or audit, in up to four undergraduate or graduate courses per semester.

As a GCAP student, you may enroll in any of the 2,000-plus graduate and undergraduate-level courses offered on the Medford campus (except studio art, engineering management, or courses offered by the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy) during the fall and spring semesters, as long as there is space available.  Courses are offered through the Summer Session as well.  Classes meet in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and information on the types of courses offered can be found by clicking here.

For more information on the Graduate Career Advancement Program (GCAP), contact 617-627-3395 or e-mail angela.foss@tufts.edu.

Please note:  A bachelor's degree is required for admission into the GCAP program.  If you have not earned an undergraduate degree, call 617-627-2000 to learn more about the R.E.A.L (Resumed Education for Adult Learners) Program.
